Goodwood Revival, which is based in Chichester is a fasinatining fantasy trip back to the past. As well as it celebrated the superb classic engineering of the motor industry. The moments before the event when you journey into Chitcester, you will see the random cars, from vintage sports, to early mini’s and small cars making their way to Goodwood, to be smartly presented in all their glory for all to see, and for some people, they will remember when the cars were in full curculation. Attending #Goodwoorevival felt like being part of the story.
I have wanted to share my experience of this blog since attending Goodwood last year for the first time. Thank you to Chetwoods Architects for making me part of their team, and inviting me to capture the fabulous day that it was. Laurie Chetwood, has a great vision and is a naturally gifted artist, view his site to see his inspirational art, and designs. Great job, Anisha Divecha who for the second year running worked day and night in the marketing side to make sure the chetwoods team was 100% looked after.
The main attraction and purpose of the event is Historic Motorsport and Aviation, it felt like i had truly left the modern world behind, it seemed like a magical step back in time living in the 1920s, through till around the 60s. For the event to appear more authentic, the effort that everyone goes to with the dress in vintage clothing is amazing. The Aviation was another splendour to watch, as the planes few in formation, and low enough to see the type of plane, the other planes that was grounded was hard to image all the flying time they must have done in their lifetime, there was so much to take in, an an amazing day.
I had taken so many images, but here is just a few from last year and this year. Yes its Mr Bean (Rowen Atkinson) who loves racing classic vintage cars
