4th October 2014
October has become one of my favourite time of the year to shoot a wedding…., yeh anyone who knows me, knows that i’m not a fan of the cold weather, plus the days start to become shorter, more chances of rain, yada yada yada! Well i have come to realise, that it doesn’t really matter what day you pick for your wedding in the UK, its a flick of the coin that decides what weather you can expect, so my advice is to embrace what ever the day, but back to October. Its the time of year when the colours of the trees are rich reds, oranges, yellows, with the brisk air, it feels like the earth is having its detox ready for winter to present its self.
After meeting Dionne at our first consultation, she had such a radiant smile, and it was plain to see a very supportive family who wanted to do all they could, to make her day perfect. I didn’t meet Liam until the morning of the wedding, which is unusual for me, but i was very comfortable to do so. What a great guy, he kept everyone smiling all day.
Also working with Jermane Clark a fellow photographer, it was a great experience to hear him singing along with the bride and bridesmaids in the morning of the bridal preparation was great, i just couldn’t get to my phone quick enough to record it, believe me they all had great voices. It truly was an enjoyable day, well done. and i wish Liam and Dionne all the very best for the future.
