Engagement Shoot
Taking the train to London, with James and Cidonye for an Engagement shoot, although i had an idea of the location i wanted to shoot, i didn’t want the day to be too composed, so i left it until on the day to finalise which location we would go to, we started at Big Ben, Westminster, this is a very busy and popular location for tourists from all over the world, so its great when you find that little pocket of space to take images. Living in the Uk i always feel a little strange when you see people from all over the world getting excited and taking multiple images of Big Ben, the london eye, and anything that seems to move lol. We then moved to Southbank which is one of the coolest places in London that i just adore. We all finally stopped for Dinner at Wagamama’s. Thank you Cidonye for recommending my main course, it was off the hook, ooohh and the cheese cake, is just too die for, (Lawwrdd!!..). Spending the day with James and Cidonye, was just a joy, two young people who are planning their big day, listening to their dreams and goals was extremely inspirational, and this is truly a couple that deserve the best that life can bring.
After dinner the heavens opened up, and it started raining as the british weather seems to do alot. But there was no stopping these troopers. With a change of clothes, we headed to the tube station and made our way to Tower Bridge, the wind was picking up the pace, so we finally got the last few shots, but as some of my equipment now was getting so wet, and the flash units stopped working, it was time to head back to the train to Birmingham. It was a long day, but it didn’t seem long, being in such great company. I am looking forward to the big day.
